Ultrasound is a non-invasive state-of-the-art technology that uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs. Ultrasounds can provide a highly detailed image of your pet's organs, which can lead to a fast, accurate diagnosis. Because this procedure is non-invasive anesthesia is generally not required when an ultrasound is preformed. |
